Meijer Pharmacy

I don't understand why the answering service always offers next afternoon pickup for prescriptions. We always go over a week with no acknowledgement from staff and our 5 year old always goes a minimum of 3 days without her prescription. I always call with around 10 doses left (its a daily dosage). Would not recommend for any urgent needs or any medication that would have serious consequences for not being taken timely or reliably.

Hmm okay let's see how about how while waiting in line they don't give you all the medication then state oh it needs a prior authorization but they got it on Thursday called on Thursday to confirm everything and then on Saturday was like ( well we don't have any interior stock and it won't be in until after 2pm on Monday ) maybe... hmm so you told me everything would be ready after 3pm Friday but didn't have the courtesy to tell mr I would be wasting gas to drive all the way there just to be told oops sorry.. What the heck is wrong with these technicians that hold your health in their hands literally.. If you don't have the meds in stock don't have the automated system call people and say its ready or call and state they have questions regarding 🤔 thr medication but its just a person confu

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Quick and even comes out to help.

I have had good experiences at this Meijer location the few times myself or my boyfriend have been, but today was exceptional. I have new insurance, but new provider was not going to cover my refill until I see my new primary care doctor (even though I have remaining refills on last insurance with a copay). Understandable, but the Rx is nearly $200 and offers no generics. The cashier was very patient and Heather C., the technician, took over and became my guardian angel. It required patience on my behalf, as these things do, and she kept updating me on her process. We worked together and found a discount code that brought it down to $25. Each time I a script is sent from my doctor, they quickly fill it. When I go in to pick up my medicine, the staff is friendly, informative, and efficient! I'm glad I switched to Meijer pharmacy!
