Meijer Pharmacy

I love this pharmacy. I live about 1 minute South of downtown and drive to Meijer; even though, there are several pharmacies closer. They are always friendly and I don't have to worry about not getting my medicine due to them not having enough staff like another pharmacy I was going to.

This pharmacy is ridiculous! First, they get rid of their app making refills annoyingly over complicated! You go online to fill a medication and it fills in 2 business days! Seriously! My medications can’t be filled until they are gone and are monitored that way. Secondly, when you do try to fill a medication and show up to pick it up, it’s never done! I go to pick up my medication and I was told I had to wait for 45 mins for the people in front of me even though I had requested it hours in advance and I am the only person in the drive thru! I worked in a pharmacy (Walgreens back when bg st Francis was around) and it was insanely busy! We could easily bump someone’s fill around others if they were standing in the pharmacy! Pharmacy hours are trash…. Try to expand them for the convenience of your night shift customers

I’m extremely disappointed that Meijer Pharmacy got rid of their app. It was essential for managing prescriptions—for both myself and my child. Without it, I can’t easily see which meds are ready for pickup, the text alerts are unreliable, and I’ve lost the ability to track refills. Switching between profiles is now a hassle, and logging in is more difficult than ever. This change has made managing our healthcare much harder. The app was user-friendly and efficient—removing it feels like a huge step backward. Unless Meijer brings back the app or offers a better alternative, I’m seriously considering switching to a pharmacy that actually prioritizes customer convenience.
