Meijer Pharmacy

Well I'm calling corporate after this because I'm still just fired up upset. I went into the store to drop off my prescription there was 40 minutes until close 6 people working in the pharmacy and one person ahead of me I was deliberately put off in my opinion so that they didn't have to finish my script before close when I do get to the counter I explained that I need this medication it is late being filled and is very important and asked if they would page me I would be in the store. 3 minutes after 8 did not hear my name Paige went to the pharmacy counter and everything was locked up tight with the lights off when was the literally ran out of there knowing full well the medication was of the most important and could cause seizures if doses are missed but no they ran out because they did

I only have 2 issues with this location. I fill more then 1 script a month and every month when I go to refill them, I'm told all will be ready at a certain day and time. I will go the following day and only 1 script will be ready.. Not to mention when they need a pre authorization, They are to fax the doctors the paper to be filled and faxed back and the employees act like I don't know what I'm talking about Even though i've been using meijer pharmacy for over 20 years. Next they have to do better with the phone calls and making people wait extremely long times just to speak to someone. For example, one time I called up and was on hold for 40 minutes. I got tired of waiting and since I literally live right down the street, I got in my car and headed up there while still "on hold". No one

Went in to get 2 of my scripts. 1 was ready, the other was not. As I waited the 15-20 minutes she told me to wait I went to see if it was ready, only to be asked "did you need that today?" Uh....yeah. I have been sitting here waiting on it...only to wait another 15 minutes 🤦‍♀️ I went in at another time to ask a pharmacists a ? Regarding me being sick and possibly pregnant to see if I could take anything...she was very rude and was quick to answer my questions as if I was bothering her. Needless to say I won't be coming to this pharmacy anymore.

They are very short staffed. They're not friendly a little rather rude nor speedy. Corporate really needs to focus on this department. sit at the round table and come up with a plan. Maybe invest in their staff so they act as if they want to be there to do the job. Add more people, give a higher pay or restructure the system? I do appreciate that they do find you coupon discounts. But something needs to change. I've really been considering looking for a small local pharmacy.

I am so tired of this pharmacy not being competent! I go on vacation and had no signal so I missed a text about a refill. I call them upon my return and they have no clue as to which Rx it was that needed refill. Now, I get a message that another cardiac Rx is on back order and was not even willing to do a store to store transfer!!! You can’t give the name of the person you spoke with because they don’t give their name upon answering the phone! I will definitely be transferring my Rx’s! 🤮
