Hope Urgent Care of Davison

I am writing this review out of true concern. I have been to this clinic multiple times both as a patient and as a driver for my family and coworkers. Last night my daughter was seen for a severe allergic reaction. The staff was fast in getting her seen and kind. The problem is the treatment. She was given multiple injections, steroids, Benadryl and epi. All standard of care. The injections were not given by a competent trained medical professional. If this staff member had been properly trained she would have quickly realized that epi can only be given in the outer thigh. My daughter received 4 injections at the belt line area of her lower back. None of the injections were given directly into a muscle as they should. Now we are forced to watch for signs of gangrene at the injection site.

I visited Hope Urgent Care in Davison for a refill of pantoprazole, which I’ve been prescribed at 40mg twice daily for GERD. I clearly explained my dosage and that I’ve been on this regimen long-term. Instead of confirming with my primary provider (which could have been done with a quick phone call), the physician reduced my dose to 20mg twice daily without meaningful explanation. I understand providers must use clinical judgment, but it would have been appreciated to have communication, clarification, or verification rather than an abrupt dose change. Patients managing chronic conditions deserve collaborative care and respectful dialogue. Literally, won't return for anything.

Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc Emergency Department is very friendly and efficient. They got me in timely and Nurse Cody took awesome 👏 care of me (and my HuBbY) 😉 Dr. Hammer & Dr. Semma spoke very clearly about my test results and I was fortunate enough to be able to go home. Although there were some nursing staff outside in the extreme cold picketing for more staff, the care inside the hospital did not suffer. I stand with Nurses and more staff for patients‼️👍💯

This is Hope Urgent Care of Davison response, "We care about our patient’s satisfaction and encourage our patients to directly contact us with any issues they have." I did, and a unknown female, which refused to identify herself (probably normal procedure), hung up on me. They keep billing me for a $20 Office Visit fee, which I have all the documents to prove, it's PAID. I tried to explain, stop billing me, you are paid your $20. She says, you have a $0 balance, I don't know why we keep billing you. It should be noted, they only have billing Staff, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-1pm, that tells you, they are limited, and probably more ways also. I informed her, make a NOTE, stop sending this Customer, bills/statements for a $0 balance. Her response, I don't know how that is happeni

My adult special-needs son lives in a group home. Staff attempted to bring him to this urgent care this evening, They refuse to see him because he lives in a group home! I do not know if this is legal, I am looking into this. Unethical at best! Shameful! Personally, I would stay away! Patient care is obviously not their goal. I received a phone call today from the manager of this urgent care, She apologized for what my son experienced. It appears the Home has made an agreement not to use this urgent care due to other Circumstances that do not include my child. The staff should never have taken him there to start with.
