I have been a patient now for several months and I have had several interactions here. Dr.R. Hameed is excellent. She has been a blessing. She came in, in place of another Dr. and is point with my care plan. Very clear and understanding. All of the staff, from front desk to every nurse on staff, shows care and patience for all of us. They show genuine concern for our well-being. I'm grateful for my care here at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center.

Recently had a medical procedure performed by, Dr.Nahid Mazarei (OB GYN) I have to say my entire process from initial consultation to the procedure itself was amazing. As a black woman it is extremely important to me that my concerns are heard, understood, and handled with the utmost care. Dr. Mazarei is a no nonsense physician and she prides herself on ensuring the safety and security of ALL women. Her medical staff was everything...ALL POC ALL FEMALE staff that aided in my procedure made me feel safe and like I was in the best hands...and the best part of everything is that THEY LISTENED to me and didnt just run with what they thought was best. Dr. Mazarei provided options, with said options she provided detailed pros and cons, with all info given, she opened the floor to me to inquire a

I was there two weeks ago. Everything was great. The only problem I had was that during my son’s delivery, my husband was supposed to cut our son's umbilical cord, but the doctor cut it without even asking, and it was very quick, even though I had been previously said that i would like to wait a couple of minutes to cut the cord and my husband was supposed to cut it but unfortunately that was not possible, that really disappointed me other than that the treatment I received was great.

I just want to share that I had a recent emergency room visit after shooting my finger. I want to commend the entire staff, from registration to the emergency room, for the care that i received. They were professional, personable, understanding, experienced, and worked well as a Team. A special thanks to Dr. Rosenberg, and nurses Chloe and Kendra. The entire staff made my visit a good experience.

I arrived on time for my appointment, the waiting area was inviting, I sign in and waited for my name to be called to check my weight, blood pressure, & temperature. Seeing Dr. Hameed, we hugged each other and I was so happy to see her. My blood work excellent afterwards Dr. Hameed examined both breast 💯great. I have to ask my primary to send my colonoscopy to her. That’s was a good visit.
