MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Frederick

Not good. I took my 6 month old daughter who was tested covid positive 4 days before we went to the urgent care. She did not have fever, she did not have any cough, oxygen level was also good. We assumed that she was having wheezing that day. The urgent care did not even try to do anything. They directly refered us to go to the emergency. If we were willing to go to the emergency, why would we go to urgent care? What are they doing there? Just temperature, weight, and oxygen level check? Those can be done at home. However, the next morning we went to the primary pediatrician and she said the baby is completely fine.

I had a great experience. Front staff was friendly and courteous.I was told that it would be a long wait, however it was shorter than expected. Nurse was Super friendly. The technician that took my X-ray was awesome.The Doctor was very knowledgeable and professional. This is a top notch group! Thank you for taking such great care of me.

My family has been here a handful of times, and even when things are super busy the staff has been nothing but kind, courteous, caring and thoughtful. Miss Marie at the front desk, who sets the tone for the entire visit, is always going above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcomed. Everyone is truly professional and it makes a difference. Thank you for your kindness and your empathy as none of us come there on our best days. It does not go unnoticed. And thank you, Miss Marie. You truly are an angel.

The NP that I had seen there was extremely professional, great bedside manner and compassionate. She was very thorough in finding out what I was suffering from. I was not in there very long and was very happy with how I was treated and the wait time. Excellent! Phenomenal service!

We had an amazing experience at this urgent care from start to finish.... from the front staff to the entire medical team. I have NEVER had such a positive experience in an urgent care. We had a pre-op appointment and were able to get everything done here (blood work, urine collection, EKG, physical). The medical assistant Dani was so incredibly kind and helpful in caring for our special needs son. She gave us all the extra time he required and never made us feel like a burden or express any displeasure, which is rare. Dani is truly gifted at what she does. The phlebotomy team, Ingrid and Indika, got his blood work drawn with one stick, and he's an incredibly difficult stick. You ladies saved us another trip to LabCorp. Thank you.
