Needed to go to a doctor for an infection. I chose MedExpress because it was within 2 miles from my house. Walked in, no other patients at the time. Lobby was clean and orderly, even had little bottles of water if you wanted one. Was greeted with a smile and check in was easy. Called back to see the doctor within minutes. Nurse extremely pleasant, took all vitals in a professional manner. Was seen by nurse practioner, Cynthia Thomas. Very very nice lady. Took the time to listen to all my symptoms, explained why it could of happened and gave suggestions to keep my infection from coming back. I had a good experience and would go back if ever needed to but only if NP Cynthia Thomas was there.
There is nothing URGENT about this place. Today was my first time going to this place. They make you check in with your phone. I was in a lot of discomfort and had to wait an hour to go to the back. After I finally went to the room I again had to wait another hour. Finally the nurse practitioner came in and talked to me for not even 5 minutes. I had to wait another 10 minutes for her to fill a prescription. Seems like there was only one doctor there. I never even saw a doctor just the nurse practitioner. If you actually need URGENT care do not come here.
I was given a prescription, and my pharmacy & insurer both said that this could only be filled through a compounding pharmacy, but the compounding pharmacy cannot bill your insurance. Went back and explained this, and asked for something my pharmacy can actually fill, and was told that no one has ever complained before?!? I think if you're going to give someone a prescription that you know has to go to a special pharmacy, you should let them know that right up front. I do understand that doctors don't usually know whether or not certain things are covered, but originally when I asked why it was a hand carry prescription, they said they just don't phone in, and when I went back, they said it was because it was compounding so they did know. Then they went on to say that the alternative w
The staff was polite, and I got a prescription that helped me to feel better. The rest of the experience was the opposite. I was in the waiting room for 2.5 HOURS! During that time, 3 patients were called, myself being the third, which means it took an average of 50 minutes per patient, but that doesn’t make sense because once I was called it only took 30 minutes. There was a stressed mom in the waiting room with 4 kids, some of whom were ill, and she said she had waited for 3 hours and hadn’t been called and couldn’t keep her kids in there any longer and she departed. The front desk staff offered no solutions for her. I asked the nurse why the wait was so long and she said, “It’s because everyone is sick at once!” There were only 3 of us in the waiting room, and only 2 patients exited the
The best in town. Literally saved my life. I came in with high blood pressure, I was checked out, my prescription sent to my pharmacy and within two hours of my visit I had my first dose of high blood pressure medicine. Now my blood pressure is been normalized and I will be happy to comeback to be seen them all again. This time feeling so much better. I only wish that in this clinic be my primary care physician. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
