MedCare Express Urgent Care/ Primary Care

I’ve used this urgent care for 8 years seeing Dr. Patel. I have been very sick since the start of 2026.. which led me to going there 3 times and each time all he did was be fast to write a script of antibiotics instead of hearing me out for my concerns. I asked for a referral to an ENT specialist and the receptionist calls saying he can’t (he has given me referrals in the past). His attitude last visit was very unprofessional, along with them not leading me in the direction to find a way to get a referral. If you’re gonna make healthcare difficult, you can at least help the patient and lead them to where to start looking.

Been using this urgent care for close to 10 years. Not anymore. Went in Monday afternoon around 445pm with a foot issue. Paid my full 60 dollar copay to see the doctors assistant Robert Bligh who WITHOUT taking off bandage diagnosed me in 15 seconds with a plantars wart with no signs of infection. Saw an emergency DPM the next day because the one he recommended was closed on weekdays. Turned out to be a series abscess infection that required immediate intervention or I wouldve been hospitalized. Place seriously sucks now.

After going to this Walkin for years, at least 3-4 times with back pain. I will never go back. They refused to just fax a referral to a back specialist. When I was just there 1 day ago for my back.

The only issue I experienced at this place was with one of the receptionists. I asked for information about a service they offered and she responded with an unfriendly attitude. I did not capture her name, but I observed that not all the receptionists displayed the same level of rudeness.

Dr. Patel has been taking care of my family and I for 20 years. He's an outstanding physician and a genuinely nice man. Don't hesitate to seek care at his practice.
