Med First Urgent Care - Jacksonville, Western Boulevard

I brought my son in for a possible UTI. The nurse we had Shiloh was 10/10 phenomenal. She made my son feel so relaxed and didn't rush him and talked through everything! Its very rare you find compassionate and empathetic people in the medical field anymore but this nurse was the best I've encountered in a long time. She really took the cake in this experience and my son wont stop talking about how amazing she was.

Both my wife and I went to the clinic with flu like symptoms we contracted from a recent plane trip. Staff was efficient, courteous, and friendly. We were seen in a timely manner even as a walk-in and had swabs done to determine what we were dealing with. The tests were going to take approximately 45min so we were allowed to go get some coffee, or in our case lunch, rather than having to sit in the office which was great! Came back at the alloted time and was immediately taken back and the doctor was with us in less than 5 minutes. Doctor was very friendly, explained the results in detail, gave us our diagnosis, treatment and we were on our way. This was our first visit to this facility, but it won't be our last. Would have taken a week to get into our family doctor, and didn't want to go

This was hands down one of the best urgent care visits I’ve ever had. Natalia at the front desk was so bubbly and welcoming — she instantly made me feel at ease. My nurse Shiloh was the bomb.com — kind, smiling, and treated me like family the whole time. Dr. James Lessard was my angel. He addressed every concern I had and made sure I left feeling taken care of and on the road to feeling better. Amazing staff from start to finish. Definitely recommend!

My 6 year old son was injured while playing. Rin at the front desk caught on immediately that we were underplaying how scared mommy was for him and kindly answered all his silly questions to keep him busy. She had great bedside manner! Natalia at the front desk was also professional and kind. The provider FNP Kacy & MA Priscilla took great care of him & clearly did a beautiful job. We were in and out in under an hour. I was so grateful to have been in the hands of these incredible women. Thank you all for being a rock of strength in my son's new core memory. They weren't busy and we were in an out in under an hour!

Walked in on 12/03 at 7:00 PM and they stayed until 8:30 to ensure i was taken care of, the doctor went above and beyond to ensure i wasn't in the same pain i came in as. I was able to be seen the next day within 5 minutes as an urgent follow up and with a different nurse, i was still as comfortable as ever! Thank you Dr. Lessard and the staff, ive felt more comfortable in his offices than any other in Onslow County. Thank you so much Med First! 💜💜
