MD Now Urgent Care - Pembroke Pines

I came in with a severe pain crisis in my shoulder and left arm and received excellent care from Dr. Yvonne Walker and her team. They were incredibly humane, efficient, and professional. Dr. Walker took the time to explain my condition clearly and provided the immediate relief I needed. I am very grateful for their empathy and expertise. For background, I don't do doctors, hospitals or Rx meds. But last night, an LA Fitness dead-weight squat rack dropped a 45# plate on my left foot. I endured the pain long enough to call my insurance co. and find out what they'd recommend. ER or Urgent Care was response, and MD Now came up first on her list of approved In-Network facilities. When I got there, they immediately received my information. The reception intake agent was very amicable. Next I was seen by Lean C. who was very kind and attentive to know the details about the injury and explain the specifics on pain, etc. X-Ray Tech Estella was most accommodating on the sensitivity of the painful positioning for the X-Ray and patiently worked with me to get what was needed. Estella was very sweet in the back. She was welcoming and warm. She did her best at understanding what my symptoms were and delivered that to Dr. Matos who was also a gem. Both are great here. The front could use a little more personality and hospitality when welcoming patients into the facility. Other than that the visit was smooth.

Great people providing great care. Listened and gave great information on my visit. Estella the RT was very nice and gentle while drawing blood. Dr. Matos was understanding and informative. Will definitely come back if I need to. Thanks

Went to MD NOW Pembroke Pines. The staff were all very nice. DrWalker was very knowledgeable and took care of my problem. Estella took care of my wound.I Was very concerned and she was very gentle and very reassuring. Need to go back in two days and hopefully she will be there to take care of my dressing. She is the kindest and caring RT. Thank you all at Pembroke.
