MD Now Urgent Care - Kendall, Miami

I waited a full hour to just pee in a cup for a drug screening. When I brought my ePassport (required paperwork), it was folded to fit in my bag. I unfolded it, apologized for the folding, and the front desk person took it and put it straight in the trash and, without looking up at me once, said, “Well now I have to reprint it because the machine won’t scan it folded.” Wow, okay, rude. I had already apologized for it before you got clearly offended over nothing. Once I finally got through, the technician administering the drug test spoke down to me like I was an incompetent person. Really? I understand you perfectly fine when you say this is legally binding, to initial here, to pee between these two lines and don’t flush. It’s not that difficult. My hearing is fine. You have an appointment well that doesn't matter. My wife made an appointment at about 5:15 pm. The website responded with an our wait or with 15 minutes of 6:40 pm. I was brought in at 7:26 pm. The nurse goes about asking me my symptoms and family history. Then swabs my nose for covid/flu. He then says we will have results in 10-15 minutes. I laid down for a bit but was now getting desperate to go home since it was 8:15 pm. I went outside and asked to please provide my results so that i can go home. The doctor said i have seen 70 patients which i responded with i am sorry but it should not take this long. Finally a nurse came back and said you are negative, you are free to go home. I left but did not receive any treatment plan. Tomorrow i will go to Baptist Urgent care a few minutes south

This location is VERY understaffed. I came in for a simple urinalysis and it took two hours for an appointment that once I went in the back took 2 mins. Once I urinated in the cup, the MA on duty did not seal my sample and just left it on top of the cabinet where I put it. Hope everything comes out good, and the sample does not get contaminated. When asked, the MA said “I’ll do it now sir” check in was a breeze, however the wait time, and professionalism was way under par.

One of the best and most generous offices for health and general wellness. Amazing staff members including Kassandra, Lashonda, and Breslin were such amazing and considerate to my symptoms. I highly recommend this MD now for any health related issues. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE HELP!!!!!!

I came to MD Urgent Care for a pre-employment drug test and the staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and efficient. The whole process was quick and stress free. Highly recommend!!
