Maximeyes

I was traveling and had some unexpected, sad news back home which made for a sad day. I took off my glasses (to wipe my eyes, sheesh) and the screw fell out! Despite several attempts to fix it myself I resigned to finding a nearby glasses establishment which brought me to Maximeyes. The friendly optician complimented my (literal) bandaid repair and quickly fixed my glasses properly. I mentioned having an otherwise bad day and he said, this was an easy fix and he was happy to help bring some levity to my experience. I just wanted to say thank you.

I was visiting NYC when the earpiece on my eyeglasses broke. It was 4:45 PM on Saturday and I was desperately running around Chelsea. Fortunately, we found Maximeye Optical. Their expert fixed my glasses and would not allow me to pay. He only said “Welcome to New York.” What nice people. I am so grateful!

One of the arms of my sunglasses fell off last week. I am visually impaired but do use shades to protect my eyes from the sun. My sunglasses just needed a simple screw so I thought it would be a breeze to fix it. Would you believe I got turned down twice by Cohen’s Fashion Optical on 7th Ave/25th St.? Desperate, I took my chances and walked in to MaximEyes Optical on W. 24fb. Wow what a difference. Everyone was so friendly, I was assisted by an optician named Clint. It took him only a few minutes to repair my shades and now they’re like brand new. Thanks Clint and MaximEyes Optical.

Really disappointing and unprofessional customer service. I arrived on time for my appointment and when there was a hiccup with my insurance (had all my info but was misinformed about % covered by my plan), they told me I should cancel my appointment. I tried to pay for the exam only to be told that the truth was they had booked clients too close together. Refused to help me throughout the process, kept “suggesting” I cancel even when I was willing to pay in full, and then flat out wouldn’t honor my appointment.

Great service. Lovely people. Excellent no bs store.
