So glad we saw Dr. Kernizan. Our orthodontist had recommended my son get a wisdom tooth extracted to ensure his braces fully did the job. Dr. Kernizan explained why waiting a few years until the tooth emerged from the jawbone was much safer and more medically appropriate. He put all of us at ease with his clear, calm, thoughtful manner. Rare to find a dental professional who puts patients above paychecks!

The office was immaculate. The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. Max was great. He listened to my daughters concerns about the type of pain she was having, and despite not being able to remove her wisdom teeth yet, he provided clear reasons as to why not, and provided a hopeful plan to alleviate some of her mouth pain.

Very friendly, pleasant staff. MD was great, making my son feel as comfortable as possible. Surgery was quick and easy. Nurses were very attentive and helpful during recovery.

Such an unexpected excellent experience. The referral part took awhile but once they got it we were booked for consultation and surgery in the same week I called. I was surprised and kind of skeptical at first but once we got there the process was easy and fast. Everyone from reception to surgeon was a pleasure to meet and they made a very stressful experience much less so. My daughter felt comfortable with the team of people she had. Her surgeon was truly such a genuinely nice person and I felt very confident with him doing surgery on my child and even she was much less anxious with him. I can't remember all the names but Stephanie one of the nurse's was very nice and easy to talk to and I swear she was a magician doing the IV. This practice is the best! I went here for a third opinion, and I'm forever grateful that I did so. Dr. Kernizan has the two most significant traits I need as my healthcare provider. Brilliance and bedside manner. I have a complex matter with my impacted wisdom teeth. He thoroughly explained the risk and reward, and then also implemented a logical treatment plan. I hugged him and his assistant Jennifer when I left! If I would have stayed with the other oral surgeon's opinion, I would have never felt the right side of my face again and would have been out of work for almost 2 months, NOT a week like my first consult advised. He simply wanted to yank them out. Oral surgery is no joke.....whatever you do, just go to Dr. Max.
