KATIE TORTURING THEIR CHILDREN. PLEASE BEWARE AND SAVE YOUR CHILDREN THE ABSOLUTE TRAUMA OF BEING CARED FOR BY THIS PRACTICE. Original Review: My daughter had a big cavity on a molar. My family dentist suggested we see a pediatric dentist for the filling because they’re faster with the kids, and he suggested Dr. Katie’s office. We went in on Friday 9/19/25. Everything up to the drilling went pretty smoothly, but about 30 seconds into drilling my daughter started shrieking in pain, verbalizing that she was in excruciating pain, writhing and kicking in the chair, ripping off the nitrous mask, begging for mommy

Dr. Katie is wonderful with special needs children. She did a wonderful job with my son last year. He had to have oral surgery and she was fantastic with him. Made the situation so calm. She talked me through what she might have to do. And this year we will be coming back for cleaning.

My special needs daughter chipped her tooth. Dr Katie fixed it prefectly. But moreover, I sat in awe as I listened to her explain how she was going to fix it to my daughter, in a quiet, peaceful manner that put my daughter at such each. She used language that my daughter could understand, and used a kind and reassuring voice that not only gave me comfort, but settled my daughter's anxiousness so well (most importantly). I sat in the room and listened, and watched her do her work with such delicate precision, and was amazed. Dr Katie is a blessing to the special needs community.

Dr. Katie & Dr. Dan are amazing dentists. The staff and them are both so friendly, professional and skilled. It is always a pleasant experience for my large family to have dental maintenance done with their practice. We have been seeing them for over a decade. They are also extremely comforting and experienced in handling fears with little ones. Highly recommend!

Matthews dental is such a kind and comfortable dentists office. We book way far ahead so we get the appointment slots that we want. If you have to change there is a wait to get back in but it is worth waiting for. Dr. Katie is the kindest, calmest, most compassionate pediatric dentist I have ever met. Our kids are completely comfortable in the dentist chair and we have always been seen immediately at the time of our appointment with no waiting. The hygienists are so nice, gentle and effective and kids actually look forward to their cleaning in front of a TV. The front desk ladies are sweet and provide excellent customer service. We’ve never had a billing hiccup or an issue. No overcharging or insurance issues. In short we will never leave until they kick us out!
