Recently had surgery with Dr. Nielsen. He is AMAZING. Great bedside manner. Staff at surgery center were great! Follow-ups are easy, he has a friendly nurse (Rachel). Front desk staff is always happy and smiling! Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Nielsen is a life saver! He is Soo Sooo Soooo nice and welcoming my 1st appointment and actually took his time to make sure the plan in place for me was something I am comfortable doing!!!! instead of doing what all the doctors want, they truly care for their patients and my son also goes to the clinic as well! Very thankful for this team! AMEN 🙏🏼

Dr Nielsen is incredible!! I truly think other doctors could learn a lot about bedside manner from him. He repaired both of my ankles after a pretty rough fall. He and his staff was so incredibly kind. I’m not a skinny girl and he never once mentioned that or treated me any differently. Not sure about the other reviews regarding that. I continue to go to him years later for any of my foot and ankle problems (none of which are from the repair he did…that is fantastic). He repaired the shredded ligaments and tendons and put an internal brace in. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I highly, highly recommend him, his team and this office. Amazing group of truly kind and compassionate people! Thank you for all you do!!!

Dr. Matthew Nielsen is an extremely personable and caring doctor. He went above and beyond to schedule me to be seen for my broken bone and scheduled me for surgery as soon as possible. He is extremely knowledgable and I never doubted for a moment that my procedure would be a success with him as my surgeon. Whenever I needed to contact him or his staff, they were very quick to respond to my inquiries. His office staff members are very friendly and helpful in every way. I would definitely recommend Dr. Nielsen and his medical staff to anyone.

I was referred to Dr Neilson after a screw placed during prior bunion surgery broke. His solution was to prescribe a clunky brace. He was forthright about his opinion that the problem was that I was fat. So, he wouldn’t remove the screw or repair the foot. I guess if you are not thin he thinks you deserve to be in pain and unable to walk. I returned to my surgeon. He had thought Nielsen a young surgeon would be a good choice to repair the foot. He didn’t know this doctor was biased against the obese. Upon learning that Nielsen wouldn’t help me, my original surgeon did the revision surgery and fused the foot in three locations. That was 10 years ago. I do Not use a brace.
