James S. Magera, MD, FACS

It is nice when a doctor takes the time to actually listen to you. And did not talk over my head. And make sure all my questions were answered before I left. That’s why I like Dr. Magera.

I would choose Dr. Magera over and over. He’s funny, he’s personable.. and he knows how to get on the same level with you and explain things simply and thoroughly. I think he’s a great doctor but also just a great guy. My mother in law is also a patient of his, she was very nervous before a surgery and she told me that he prayed with her before it all got started to help lessen her nerves. That might not be a big deal to many but it was to her and our family. I’ve heard him greet other patients as well as how he greets me and he sounds and looks like he’s seeing a good friend for the first time in a long time. I wish all drs could learn from Dr. Magera and his bedside manner. Not to mention he’s also a fantastic surgeon. The people that work along side him seem to enjoy him as well. 10/10

The lady's at the front desk were helpful kind courteous and funny. Dr. Magera is the best very informative great personality easy to talk to takes the to listen to any concerns you may have and talks you through them and great sense of humor best experience you could have with a doctor two thumbs 👍 up. PS Same on me for forgetting the unsung heroes the nursing staff that take of all the preparations before you see him. Unicorns and butterflies!!!

Dr. Magera is thoughtful, positive, thorough at every appointment! He listens to each comment, question, and concern we have! He truly wants the best for his patients! We appreciate his candid and thoughtful explanations of my husband’s health status!

Kind, gentle, considerate, friendly... These are just a few of the many positive adjectives that could be applied to Dr. Magara. As far as his profession and his skills, there may be some as good but none better in his field. Even the staff, nurses etc. are very friendly and very professional. It's just an A+ experience.
