Martinsville Urgent Care

I called urgent care of Martinsville on Sunday and the receptionist told me they were open till 4 PM. I let her know that I will be there right at 4 PM to pick up my medication that I did not get to pick up on Saturday because they were closed I assume for the snow, which was none on the Road. I pull in the parking lot at 3:48 PM and the closed sign is on and the door is locked. I see a car around the back and I pull around there to speak with the employee and he states to me that if no one is inside by 3:45 PM they lock up and leave which I think is ridiculous when your sign says you close at 4 PM on Sundays. not to mention, I drove an hour and 15 minutes🤬

One of the best urgent care experiences I’ve ever had. I was seen within two hours of calling, and no wait time when I arrived for my appointment. I was able to stay in my car until my room was ready. Nurses and staff were quick and efficient, but thorough. The entire facility was very clean and updated. Will definitely be back.

The providers at Martinsville Urgent Care always provide great care for me and my family. We have been seen for issues ranging from broken bones and kidney stones to seasonal illnesses and flu. It is always easy to schedule a time slot. When you arrive, the receptionists are always professional and courteous, the wait time is reasonable, and the providers and nurses are quick and thorough. One of the Nurse Practitioners there, Kenneth Hawker, has helped my family members several times in recent weeks. He is kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. He definitely has earned the respect and trust of our family.

Very nice place. The receptionist was so friendly, the nurse who looked at me was friendly, about the job, and diagnosed me fairly quickly. I had cellulitis, a cartilage infection of the ear. I consider it a little serious. He prescribed just the right antibiotic. I was there yesterday and today I'm feeling so much better. 👍 Ear swelling is going down. I appreciate everything they do over there. I am a veteran so I will find out what the charge was but I will through the mail. I'm totally happy.. . Right around the corner from my house and I'm 67 so that makes my life very enjoyable if I need to go to the doc for anything. 😃❤️🌼 🥰

Super pleased with my experience at Martinsville urgent care today. Dr. Boitnott was very friendly and genuinely concerned about my well being. Her and her staff got to me in a timely fashion and got me on my way very quickly. I highly recommend them.
