I’m 23 years old I have been in and out of the er since Christmas. Dr.NGO saw me at the clevand and clinic and recommended A colonoscopy and an endoscopy. After waiting 2 months for a follow up visit to see him he was unable to properly write me a prescription for zofran the dissolvable tablets( the only ones that work for people with stomach issues) after leaving his office with my insurance I was quoted 117$ for both procedures. I showed up today after doing two days of prep and the ladies in the office informed me that it was now magically 700$. There was no option to postpone the bill. It was immediately pay right now or we will not do the procedure as no normal 23-year-old just magically has $700 in their bank account.
