I wish I had taken the time to read the lower-rated reviews before choosing this clinic, as they sadly reflect the reality of my own experience. My interactions with Dr. Dharia resulted in tremendous stress and anxiety for me, and I am sharing my story to help prevent others from facing similar difficulties. I was told I needed six fillings. During one appointment, Dr. Dharia started working on four of them. About an hour into the procedure—while I was numb, uncomfortable, and unable to think clearly—I was suddenly told after drilling that two of the cavities were “too deep” for a normal filling. I love Dr. Dharia and everyone at Marina Landing Family Dentistry. I’ve been seeing her for many years, and she’s the best dentist I’ve ever had. What makes her so special is that she doesn’t just care about your teeth, she cares about you as a whole person. Dr. Dharia is warm, gentle, and genuinely cares about her patients well being. The whole team is amazing and walking into the office actually feels comforting, which is not something most people can say about going to the dentist! They’re the best.

My experience with this dentistry 5 months ago seems to mirror what many others have expressed in the reviews. I had a large cavity and was told that they would "do their best to do a filling if they could reach it" and if not, they would do a crown. After less than 5 minutes of drilling in this "hard to reach location", they showed me a large hole (presumably caused by their drilling) and told me they needed to do a crown instead. The procedure was performed by a dental hygienist (not the dentist) and I have been in pain ever since. The pricing information I was given was extremely sketchy. I have had consultations with several dentists since then who have expressed surprise at the cost, and stated that they likely would not have recommended a crown had I come to them with this issue. She recommended an onlay for me tooth 2 and 3. weeks later I had pain and all of a sudden now I need a root canal and because the experience was very uncomfortable going back and forth with her insurance person, I did not want to go back to complete the crown process. it's been almost 2 years and now I find out I have to pay out of pocket for those two teeth Even though they were partially done without crowns. I'm trying to file a grievance with Delta dental. She made the wrong diagnosis. When I look back at my insurance claims and see my portion it doesn't add up to what I paid which was hundreds of dollars. She doesn't even have up to date technology like the cone bean x-ray in her office . She's a scammer! get a second opinion! Dentistry is a business also.
