In addition to the treatment, she offered valuable preventative exercises for future health. I'm thrilled to have found her conveniently located near Alameda Hospital in Alameda, and I highly recommend her services.

Such a great experience with Dr Patel. I was referred for 6 weeks of PT to rehab an L4/L5 herniated disc. Dr Patel created a structured program for me, ramping up the difficulty level as my pain level improved. She was so approachable and patient with demonstrating the exercises and never made me feel like I should already know how to do even the basic ones. She was super friendly and a good conversationalist throughout too. In the end she had me fully rehabbed a week ahead of schedule, and wrote me a maintenance program to keep up with the exercises on my own going forward. I’m following her instructions and am back to doing all of the activities I love. Highly recommend!

My first experience with PT was with Dr Sonam Patel. I had no idea that PT could be not only effective, but even fun. Sonam is an extremely competent and capable therapist. She combines those qualities with a caring personality and a positive attitude. My very painful hip inflammation was treated and remedied within 6 weeks. I “almost” didn’t want to stop the PT. I cannot recommend her more highly!

Sonam Patel is a fantastic therapist! I have had the good fortune of being one of her patients as well as a referring physician for my own patients. She is very thorough, designs a tailored program complete with visual aids, written and video instructions, and continued follow up. What sets Patel apart from other physical therapists is that her therapy does not stop at the end of the session. She is always available to provide additional support. She is so good that I have graduated from physical therapy!
