Maribel Montoya MD My Endocrinologist PA

I have been seeing Dr. Montoya since 2021. I came to her with all of these concerns, fatigue, weight gain, exhaustion, mood, libido, etc. She was the first person to listen and say, you might have MTHFR. A genetic variation that prevents your body from processing nutrients, especially B9 Folate Acid, and B12. She helped me find vitamins that are already in a form my body can absorb. It changed EVERYTHING for me. Now, a few years later, I went to her with so many more complaints of the end stages of perimenopause. We did lab work before my appointment, so she had the results. I typically have virtual appointments, which are very convenient, but I wanted to go in for this one, as it was so important to me. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I have been an established patient with this office since 2022 and the lack of care or concern from the folks at this place is off the charts. Every time I had a question for the care team, no one was ever available and the to get them to call you back is nearly impossible. The biggest issue I have and the reason for this review is that a month ago I had a total knee replacement and my blood sugar spiked alarmingly high. I literally called this office on a Monday to speak to the care team. No one answered. I attempted to call and make an appointment. Again, no one answered. I then left a message for the care team. Someone called me back and told me “I need to speak to Ms.Hudson and I’ll call you back”. Needless to say, they did not return my call unti

My experience for the two visits I have had were exceptional. They took time to listen to my concerns and offered options for treatment. My appts were with Lucia Quiroz (who is wonderful) and I did meet Dr Montoya on my first visit. My wait time after arrival at the office was minimal and the staff were courteous and efficient.
