EXCELLENT children's dentist office! Dr. Da Costa and his team are wonderful with my children! I came here bc i read other reviews with how warm and understanding the dentist is with his patients and they are not wrong. He is on point! Made my son's tooth extraction painless and easy and I sat in the room and watched. THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT SERVICE PROVIDER, Dr Da Costa!

Very professional and caring dentist office. The entire staff treats you with kindness and holds themselves to the same high standard as the dentist. They’re able to accommodate all four of my children in one visit, which makes life so much easier. My 7-year-old has autism, and they truly go above and beyond to accommodate him and respect his boundaries. That means more to us than I can put into words. If dental work is needed, they don’t make you wait months — they act quickly and take care of it. I would highly recommend this office to any parent, especially if you have a child who is nervous or hesitant about going to the dentist. They genuinely make kids feel comfortable and welcome.

Mr. DaCosta and his assistant Maria are absolutely wonderful. My daughter had been completely traumatized by previous dental experiences, and from the moment we met him, he made her feel safe, calm, and comfortable. His patience and care truly made a difference for her. Unfortunately, we moved back to the DR and haven’t been able to find anyone comparable to him and his team. We will definitely be visiting when we travel back over the summer. He is truly the only dentist I trust.

Highly recommend! I truly have no words to express how grateful I am for Dr. Da Costa and his wonderful team. My son fell and broke two teeth, and a few months later he developed gum boils. We took him to several clinics, and all of them wanted to remove both of his front teeth. We did not accept that, my son was only 2 years old. It was heartbreaking. Dr. Da Costa was our last hope, and he did the impossible. He believed, along with us, that it was possible to save our son’s two teeth. He was honest about all the possibilities, but he did not choose the easiest path. He chose to do a pulpectomy and give our child a chance. I am eternally grateful to him. We've trusted Dr. Da Costa with our children's dental needs for many years. Hands down the most caring, professional and HONEST dentist you will find. They make us feel like a part of the family instead of a dollar sign. We love that they also offer IV sedation for patients who cannot handle treatment due to age or medical conditions! Their team of anesthesiologists are just amazing!!! Highly recommend Oakland pediatric dentistry!!
