Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

We visited my sister today. Mansfield Center is in a beautiful country setting. The parking was convenient and close to the entrance. The reception area was warm and friendly to visitors and the signin procedure was simple and efficient. The accommodations were clean with many staff present to care for the patients. My sisters’ meal was served with care and also offered help to open difficult condiment packages. The staff showed genuine concern for the patients under their care.

Mansfield Nursing and Rehab provides EXCELLENT, COMPASSIONATE CARE for my elderly Auntie. As a Nurse, I appreciate my concerns and questions are always answered and taken care of. The STAFF ARE WONDERFUL!! My Family and I have peace of mind knowing her needs are being met, and her new home is clean, safe and pleasant for her.

Was I surprised to hear on the news that a CNA here was recently arrested for abusing a resident? Not really. MCNR tries to make itself look so good, it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. Staff is seriously overworked, they will not hire extra help until the last employee standing has collapsed. This place does not care about people. They care about profit. That’s why instead of giving the kitchen a budget to work with to supply their residents with fresh, healthy food, they went off and bought all new TVs! Because grandma and grandpa can starve for all they care, so long as there’s a big ole’ television in every room to impress the new folks. Shame on this place. Within the past two years there has been SEVERAL employees that have nearly gone postal, but the media won’t tell you that. They

The entire family is so grateful for the wonderful care that Mom has gotten . She smiles and laughs all the time so we know she is happy. Thank you to all the staff and special thanks to Ewa who treats her like she would her own mom.

Absolutely love the staff on the second floor unit. My Meme has been there for over a year and she has settled in with ease. She feels at home and loved. Thank you to Eva and all the staff for taking such good care of our loved ones.
