CVS Pharmacy

Newington is a little slow but pharmacy cashier very pleasant. Picked up some last minute gifts for Christmas 🎄

1) CVS's AI answering system doesn't give correct prescription status and you can't get past it to a live person to obtain correct information 2) Customer Service is not a priority for CVS employees, appearently it's a hassle 3) CVS pharmacists don't cross-check prescription ingredients with patient profile allergy status. CVS has twice given me a prescription that contains an inactive ingredient which I'm allergic to. I made sure the allergen information was recorded in my patient profile, so I wouldn't be given a prescription that contains the allergen. These are just a few of many reasons why I don't use CVS unless I'm desperate. The Coventry CVS pharmacy is worth the drive for a much better experience. Don’t waste time with the rudeness and incompetency at this location.

Don’t EVER use this pharmacy, unless you or a loved one is near death … taking that back, they could die ! When picking up routine prescriptions you are often forced to stand in line , which could be from the front of Pharmacy to the entrance of the store. Drive through is a most convenient option …when it’s open. 🤢 When you FINALLY get you prescription, it’s wrong. ! Oh yeah. I don’t know why I switched other than I thought it would be convenient, but trust me Walgreens is far better and worth the extra drive. Good Luck. Believe me today has not been my first dilemma or bad experience, everyone deserves a second chance. I have to say, over and above that I’m done. Good Luck and please stay well.

The male pharmacist is the best . He is helpful answers all my questions. Takes time to explain and makes sure I understand . I pick up give or take about 9+ prescriptions from this cvs because of him and how helpful he is . He gets 5 stars for sure . I have stage 4 and graves with severe brain fog and sometimes my meds make me confuse he helps me so much .
