This facility went from 5 stars to 1 star over night. My family has had three generations here total. I will never again trust this facility with a family member. Much of the staff was wonderful - I do not blame them. The facility is short-staffed and morale is down. One employee quit because of all of the "abuse and neglect." Another employee told us that his check is consistently short because there is an error with the time difference that is not getting fixed. What is promised - two showers per week, vitals each shift, prompt response to call lights, doctor visits, and 24/7 care. HA! My family member had two showers in the full ONE MONTH they were there. Their vitals were done upon admission and upon discharge. There is way more, but this is enough for now. It's atrocious and such a tr

Manor Grove used to be 5 star. New owners have created a horrible situation for many residents. My dear friend went 2 weeks without a shower before I made a state hot line complaint. It is not unusual for her call light to go unanswered or take more than an hour to get a response, supplies like towels in patient bathrooms do not exist. Many of the agency staff have been unkind and neglectful.

Update: We did meet with the new owners last week. Residents and family mostly complained. Most of the existing staff has left (now just all agency employees who don't introduce themselves, everything is just a one-off transaction and so on). The residents who have been here a while are HURTING, and no one cares. The 3rd administrator in a year was suddenly fired and replaced by the woman who was hired as the social worker, as we hadn't had a social worker in months. About 40% of the full-time staff left and went to another facility. However, the one employee who all the residents LOVE and RAVED about to the new owners, Kathleen, the Activities Director, was fired and will not be back. My loved one just called me crying. She hates it there, but has run out of $$ to get into a another

New owners are non responsive. Administrative staff some mailboxes not setup or are full and do not return phone calls even after 3 weeks. Staff shortages, beds not changed and no meal selection available to residents. Laundry dryer broken and residents laundry not getting done. No washcloths, no coffee cups as dishwasher also broken. Aides on their cell phones instead of helping resident to get showered. Terrible changes wondering what will be next.

This place used to be ok but under new ownership, it has completely fallen off a cliff. Since the new ownership took over, they have replaced experienced administration with a social worker with no experience running a facility, lost all their permanent patient care staff (nurses/aides) and replaced them with agency labor. They are so understaffed that 1 aide takes care of 30 residents. My MIL has gone a week between showers, sat in a wet diaper for 7 hours, and had to deal with a broken toilet for over 2 weeks. Laundry doesn’t get done, basic groceries aren’t bought (they were recently out of bread for almost a week) and you can feel the absentee ownership.
