Manokin Nursing and Rehab is an excellent choice if you or a loved one is in need of short term rehab or extended care. The staff go above and beyond to make sure every resident receives the very best care. The Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapist do an incredible job helping residents restore and maximize independence.

After regularly visiting Manokin Nursing and Rehab for the past 30 months attending to my Mom, I am motivated to share a commendable review, especially acknowledging the positive transformation under new ownership since the summer of 2022. The changes in rules, traditions, and procedures have significantly enhanced the care provided, resulting in a remarkable 500% improvement in my mother's well-being. This new ownership stands out for prioritizing people over profits, a rare quality that deserves more recognition than it currently receives. Unlike other owner groups focused solely on financial gains, this team genuinely cares about the patients' feelings and well-being.

This facility is beyond awful! If you want your loved ones to live, please, find somewhere else. Patients are left without being checked on, call buttons are unanswered. Patients are just plain neglected. They are left in their soiled linens/clothes. Most of the time the beds don’t even have a fitted sheet or sheets. Just an old thin blanket thrown on top of the mattress with the same type blanket to cover up with. They are not given enough water to drink. The food portions are to small, unbalanced, and sometimes actually inedible. If you complain or ask for anything, the staff can be rude and overheard making fun of you. The facility is old but usually clean. However, patient beds, furniture, televisions are falling apart. Personal items disappear (too frequently to be an accident).

Very grateful for the care that is given to our mother at Manokin. The nurses and CNA’s, Laundry, food staff, activities, docs, admin., bookkeeping, reception, maintenance have all been kind and caring towards our mom. They always have a kind word for her! I get phone calls from the nurses keeping us updated on any changes or needs…since I don’t live in the state these calls are very important to us! I could name lots of people to thank personally but afraid I would miss one! The job isn’t an easy one…these are very special people that are a blessing to our mom and our family. Thank You All! ❤️
