Manchester Rehab and Healthcare Center

I’ve had a really good experience with the staff at Manchester Nursing and Rehab. The team works hard to make sure residents are comfortable, cared for, and treated with respect. The environment is welcoming and the staff truly try their best to support both residents and families. I appreciate the dedication that goes into caring for everyone here every day. For the price point, this is a great place. The people who work here are kind and professional. They have a big job. I believe they do it with humor and compassion, as well as dedication. I saw one nurse singlehandedly push two residents in their wheelchairs carefully to each of their rooms. Mo is the front door person who knows how to handle pretty much anything and everything. We have a wonderful rehab gym and therapists. I've spent many hours working with them and I am regaining the ability to walk safely on my own again. By accident or, perhaps, divine intervention, I ended up in the Rehab portion of the facility, which encourages me to get back out there on my own again. My husband was here for short-term rehab for about a month. Things could not have been better! The staff are absolutely amazing and willing to help with anything I needed. The therapy department was absolutely tremendous. They were so kind, helpful, and patient. They educated me with exercises to continue doing at home with him. The facility was stunning and so clean throughout the entire building. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a clean, loving and positive environment whether it is for short-term rehab or long-term care.

I have been here for almost 3 months for Short Term Rehab. The therapy (Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy) team is outstanding. I would not be getting up or walking without them. About 90% of the CNA’s are great. The Housekeeping department is wonderful; they have met my personal needs with laundry and cleaning my room. The food has not been the greatest due to not having the fullest staff since I have been here.

We have the BEST therapy family! I say family because we are more than just a team. Everyone is always more than willing to help each other even if the patient is not on their schedule. We help the residents achieve their highest outcomes!
