UPDATE: I called Tricare the next day. They explained that our insurance was valid. Tricare called the office to find out more info. The office told them that AFTER I left, they called Tricare to verify my insurance and found out how to actually use Tricare. Turns out, the office didn't even know how to process Tricare insurance and set up their account which is why it was coming up as "invalid". They thought I was committing insurance fraud and was 100% incorrect and targeting me. I made a new patient appt for my son and it was a horrible experience. When walking in, I was greeted by the front desk and they made it known that I did not fill out the registration online. Customer: Nathan PLEASE READ UPDATE Doctors and nurses are top notch! Problem, management WILL not work with you or have patience with insurance issues. Was told that I could originally just update the practice about updating the status of adding my child to insurance. After telling me it’ll be fine, after our vaccine visit, they said “it must be paid for no questions.” Contrary to what I was originally told. Had to pay over 700 dollars to a practice caring only more about the money than the patients. Manager who made this decision was Monica. She also hid in another office than wanting to talk to me either over a phone or face to face. I have had better service from active duty navy hospitals for administrative issues. My two children have been seen by some wonderful doctors at this practice. However, in recent times a bill of $17 went to collections. My son has been on medication since he was five. He is seen every 3 to 6 months. His next appointment was due, so I called the office and at that time I was notified that we were no longer welcome back to the practice due to the $17. I offered to pay the $17 yesterday and the manager told me that even if I pay the $17 my son may or may not be welcome back to the practice. If I would've paid it yesterday, I would have to wait over a week for the owner of the practice to get back from vacation to read a certified letter I would have to write explaining why the $17 is past due. I told the manager yesterday that my son cannot be off his medication for very long

Manassas Pediatrics is a truly exceptional practice. We've been taking our children there for two years, The care and compassion shown to our children and us as parents has remained consistently high. With two toddlers close in age, I'm frequently at the office, and I appreciate the staff's ability to accommodate our needs. While all the doctors and physicians are outstanding, I find it challenging to identify just one as top-notch. I can confidently attest that each of them consistently provides 100% effort. I'm grateful for their commitment to our children's healthcare Also love that fact that I was able to get my daughters ears pierced here obviously not a deal breaker but definitely a PLUS!
