Malcolm Pharmacy

Please review your medication before leaving the pharmacy , this pharmacy made a huge mistake by giving me the wrong medication (I was prescribed Ibuprofen and was given Zolpidem) . I’ve been going here for a long time since I moved into this neighborhood but now I have to find another pharmacy cause I no longer have the trust I had. Yes I’m aware that mistakes happen and may happen elsewhere but with this experience I’ll be checking before hand elsewhere. The attitude displayed when I double-checked my prescription with them VS. what was received will be the reason I switch pharmacies. While this may not fix the situation, their lack of concern in their response is evident.

I had never used a smaller, non-chain pharmacy and was blown away by Malcolm Pharmacy's attention & action when my doctor's office sent instructions off to wrong locations. During CoVid when all doctors are working remotely and your doctor's office has you on hold for 40min waiting to speak to anyone. After 5 days of my Dr's office continuing to make errors and cross wires, it only took Malcolm Pharmacy 1 day to fix it - which meant Malcolm Pharmacy had to make those calls and wait. And, they didn't even know me yet - I was a new client. I received call backs from the Pharmacy daily and I was impressed at how they asked questions to make sure my meds did not interact negatively. THANK YOU SO MUCH. This kind of responsible and proactive attitude is harder and harder to find.

Not good. This place is either completely incompetent and unhelpful, or they flat out stole my pain medication or misplaced it and lied about it saying I had already picked it up. After arguing on the phone with them multiple times, having my doctors jump through hoops to loophole with insurance to re-prescribe , and filing a police report, they magically had my medication all of a sudden. They also said they called me days ago to report they had made a mistake and I said “okay great” on the phone …they never called me and certainly didn’t speak to me. Once again, they either lied or called the wrong person. Whether it’s ignorance or thievery, that’s not who I want handling my prescriptions. Thanks for adding more stress on top of a difficult and painful surgery during the holidays.

My favorite pharmacy ever. David the pharmacist is thoughtful and kind. The staff is superb. The wait for prescriptions is never more than a few minutes: a miracle! I get my vaccines and flu shots here too. Can't recommend highly enough

I've always wondered why some prefer family owned pharmacies other that chain stores. We now know the reason and its the personal relationship you can establish with your pharmacist. David is very knowledgable of our families medications and will always have his staff give a friendly reminder about what medications are due and what refills are needed. He always wants to make sure you are on top of taking your medications and are doing well. I highly recommend Malcolm Pharmacy if you are new to the neighborhood and are looking to have a personal touch on managing your meds and your health.
