I can't speak on the physical side. But mental health in adolescents is treated horribly here. I've been here multiple times during severe mental health crises. Some from an ambulance, some from a voluntary drive in. They effectively ignore you for half a day once you're in a bed. You'd be lucky to get a room, half the time they throw you on a stretcher in the hallway. (Not inherently their fault, they only have so many rooms.) They lock you in glorified solitary with 3 cameras for at least a day. Up to three days in my experience. You'd be lucky to get any form of mental stimulation during that time. Even if you express clearly that your stay is causing *more* distress, they will refuse to release you or provide so much as an explanation. They treat it more like a punishment than treat

Sister went in for complications regarding her condition. Doctor was dismissive of concerns and nurse incorrectly inserted IV, was painful and could not bend arm, fluids weren’t actually going in. Unacceptable treatment by medical staff!

I got placed in a hallway and a cleaner was very obviously staring at me the entire visit. The redeeming qualities was how nice the nursing staff was and the doctor. It was very weird to be charger $2,000 for an IV fluid bag, staying on a bed in the hallway and not even a room, and for taking one pill (antibiotic) with under 20 minutes of talking to medical staff in the 4-6 hours I was there. A very sweet lady in billing in the door where I was sitting at made sure I had warm blankets at all times. Medical staff was excellent, the rest was NOT.

i share same and similar experiences as other reviews.my recent trip to this emergency room was nothing short of a health risk both physical and certainly mentally by mistreatment from er employees profiling and abusing power and positions by bullying patients and forcing them into harmful situations by using verbal and mental abuse.i was put in a hall where they insisted i let them undress me and a male janitor was intentionally stopped and watching this which he was not doing so in a healthy fashion yet medical staff didn't care so ems addressed him.then staff blamed me for their lack of everything and for needing help.this er/ed is seriously out of control and staff is practicing unlawful abuse and negligent behavior right out in the open as well as the male janitors perverse behavior a

My daughter was there with Covid and they showed no compassion and just down right rude. If you can’t do your job then find another job. To make patients feel bad for coming in is just disgusting. There’s a reason this place has such bad reviews!!!
