Troy is an excellent therapist. He listens and is very knowledgeable. He is amazing with young athletes and provides the best care for their specific sports. My daughter, a distance runner, felt comfortable and confident with Troy. He offered suggestions for strengthening as well as treating her running injury with dry needling and other therapies. The following year, after treating a different injury, he referred us to orthopedics when he felt her injury was a bone issue rather than muscle, and he was absolutely right. We were grateful for his expertise, as well as his compassion when we found it was a more serious injury. Our family definitely recommends Troy and his staff!

Troy is awesome! I had major problems with my lower back and Medlena Performance Therapy was recommended to me by a coworker. After my first dry needling appointment I had over a 95% improvement. I only had two appointments and Troy was very professional and helpful during both of them. Troy Madlena is the real deal! If you are an athlete or the parent of an athlete you absolutely need to keep reading this review. My son is a distance runner. Days before his conference cross country meet he developed pain out of the blue to the extent he could not practice. He had no recollection of an injury causing incident so we were at a loss and feared his season may be over going into the championship meets. Troy is a phenomenal therapist. Not only is he already very knowledgeable with a variety of things in and around his field, but he truly goes above and beyond when it comes to each patient/client. I’ve found that he will do research to help with whatever he can (something that many other therapists just brush off)! Treatment-wise: He’s one of the few I trust with dry needling and does well with muscle manipulation to help get things back on track. Highly recommend!
