M Health Fairview Woodwinds Hospital

I truly enjoyed labor and delivery. It was super important to me to have my children in my labor and delivery room. I didn’t want to be connected to all the monitors and wanted birth to be as natural as possible. I truly appreciated the home birth atmosphere but at the hospital! The staff was so supportive and it felt great to be surrounded by family and friends

Bailey B (ENT) Doctor wanted a procedure done (Doctor ORDERED a stat procedure), Fairview called UHC for TWO prior auths, one was eligible and covered the other was not. I go in for services 10/18/25 for MRA and MVA and even asked, "Are you guys not doing contrast", tech said "no the radiologist said not necessary". Two days later I get two letters in the mail with two different CPT codes saying one was approved and one wasn't. What CPT code do you think Fairview Woodwinds is billing for, the non covered one. I have spent HOURS on the phone (oddly enough, I work FOR Fairview) with Fairview, and my insurance company. If this is NOT fixed and remediated within 7 days, I will contact the BBB and get lawyers involved. Fairview is billing me $1,888 for services that were done and they d

Emergency Department (formally emergency room) staff were responsive. The doctor listened to me and I felt heard. She took great care of me. Professional staff. The nurses in my ward (3rd floor, east) were incredible. They were attentive and responded in a reasonable amount of time to my call button. They cared about my well being and recovery. The hospital offers acupuncture and aromatherapy, too. Everyone was professional and friendly. There was a variety of food options, including fresh pizza. I think the pizza and omelets with all the vegetables available were the best. I mean, as far as hospital food goes.

I don’t like this hospital because the two times that I have went to the ER they didn’t do any for me. I have a high Parathyroid level and I have loss a great amount of weight in three weeks due to loss of appetite because of my Parathyroid level and I went there the 2nd time to see if they could give me a CT scan or a ultrasound of my neck to look at my parathyroid but the Physician Assistant that I saw said that they didn’t do CT scans in the ER and that she couldn’t help me. I truly feel like they were just rushing people out the door because they wanted to hurry up and clear out the emergency room. I am very disappointed with this hospital. If I was back home in Tennessee I wouldn’t have had this problem. So I’m really planning on taking my medical issues to Mayo Hospital in Rochester

Such a great experience went to the ER for abdominal pain and in the morning the OR took my appendix. The nurses were wonderful, surgeon was funny- such a positive experience! Thank you!
