Dr Prestwood and her staff are very nice and thorough with exam. Great bedside manners and professionalism. Only reason for unc pediatrics does not receive is the wait time. I don’t mind waiting but they stress being on time and 15 minutes early. They have bee consistently late. At least 10 minutes and the most recent time was over 25 minutes. They apologized, but at this point, it is too consistent for it to be just bad luck. Their business flow needs to be adjusted and addressed.

Dr. Kurz and his staff are very pleasant, caring, and efficient. My experience in his office has always been very satisfying. Wait times are minimal, and I feel that my concerns are always addressed with professionalism and concern for my well-being. I highly recommend this group.

Dr Stewart and her colleagues are highly competent and well connected with the UNC/Duke systems. Almost always I am able to get a same-day appointment with her, or on the odd time with another MD. The entire staff is respectful, courteous, and caring. Within reason, this is consistently superior medical care.

I love NCP! Initially followed my long time doctor there when he relocated awhile back,was sketchy at first but immediately loved the environment,staff and most of the docs there..Highly recommend to anyone seeking providers with YOUR care first,quick responses when called and always able to fit you in when needed most. Clean,and kid friendly as well 👍❤😊

My 2 month old son was showing some signs of fever in between our regular visits at this clinic. We called them for next day appointment to see a doctor and clinics typically have open slots for such situations but they asked us to go to emergency instead. I would not suggest someone to use this clinic as PCP since you end up paying a lot more in emergency rooms for such situations. Rather one should find PCP clinics which are a lot more flexible. My friends are physicians in UNC family medicine and they do have open slots for such situations specially for children. Not a good experience.
