Lourdes Urgent Care - Youngsville

I went to this urgent care on a Sunday after 4 days of worsening illness, including a rising fever. I explained clearly that while I suspected COVID, my symptoms were progressively getting worse, and I was concerned about a secondary infection, specifically pneumonia. I requested further evaluation such as a chest X-ray and lab work (CBC) to rule this out. The only tests ordered were COVID, flu, and strep. COVID was positive. I was told my lungs “sounded fine,” no further evaluation was done, and I was sent home with only a lidocaine throat-numbing medication. Despite fever and worsening respiratory symptoms. The following day, I saw my primary care provider. On exam, I had diminished breath sounds. A chest X-ray and respiratory panel were ordered, and I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I r

Very good experience. They saw me in a timely manner. Everyone was friendly. The only problem was they called my prescriptions into Walgreens in youngsville. That pharmacy is the worst in the area. I let it go because it's been about 3 years since the last time I used them and I thought maybe they changed. Nope. They got my prescriptions at 11:30 am. These are common prescriptions. I asked them to call me when they were ready. I didn't get them until 7:30 that evening after waiting in the car line for 45 minutes. My fault. CVS is just across the street.

I usually go to the kaliste saloom location but this one was closer so went here and will not be returning. The wait was long even though there was only one other person in the waiting room before me and I feel like my symptoms weren’t taken seriously by the doctor on duty once my tests for strep and Covid came back negative. I spent more time waiting than being seen and got a notification for my results in the mychart app 20 minutes before anyone came back into the room to talk to me. Giving three stars because the nurse that helped me was nice and seemed to actually care.

The lady checking in patients up front was the sweetest soul! I wish I had gotten her name because she deserves praise! William Anderson, NP has been wonderful with both of my kids.

The ONLY person that was even nice to me that night was the lady checking me in. Every other person was rude. Taking my information in the back, took me a minute to even think about my last period cause who even tracks that with busy schedules anymore, and the nurse blurts out in the rudest tone are you pregnant. No im not, i just can’t remember if my last period was last week or the week before or the week before that. I mean damn my memory is not good! Give me a minute to think. And then the freaking doctor comes in or whoever he is, Troy. My pain level is a 9/10 and idk what can be done at that time to help. Doesn’t even look at my knee to see if it’s swollen or if anything is wrong with it. Stands there leaning against the counter and asks me “what do you want me to do for you?” Like i
