I just paid $3,500 out of pocket to have a second set of braces installed by Central Iowa Orthodontics. Loucks & Buren Orthodontics did not fix my teeth as promised. As a result, my oral surgeons told me I had to get another set of braces in order to receive an implant for this tooth I am missing. The whole point of the first set of braces was to create a gap wide enough to get an implant, meaning the braces completely failed me. Now I cannot afford the implant once these braces come off which is heartbreaking… I know it is inconvenient, but make the drive to Des Moines/Iowa City/Etc. for your braces.
