Los Gatos Audiology and Hearing Aid

Wow! I took my 87 year old mother to see Dr. Brennan yesterday. We could not have had a better experience. She was amazing and so, so helpful. She explained things so thoroughly and patiently. I don’t think we’ve ever had a more positive experience in dealing with any doctor! We highly recommend her. She teaches audiology at San Jose State also and it’s clear why - she has a real gift for explaining things which made everything understandable to both myself and my mother. We were not rushed; the staff was great; the atmosphere was professional, but relaxed. An appointment my mother was dreading turned out to be a great experience.

We were 15 minutes late and Dr.Brennan refused to see her patient even though there were no other patients waiting… clearly, she’s lacks understanding of what it takes to get a dementia patient out of the door!

Dr. Throm and her clinical and reception staff are all outstanding. I would not go to any other audiologist in the Bay Area! She pays careful attention to what her patients are saying about their needs, how their hearing aids are working (or not). Her technical knowledge is as excellent as her medical expertise. I recently went in with a very hard to define problem with one of my hearing aids--she worked with me and with the appliance carefully and thoroughly. She is very patient, knowledgeable and lovely to work with. Her staff are friendly, respectful, and competent in their own skills.

My experience with Los Gatos Audiology was amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Dr. Throm is brilliant and diagnosed me accurately and fitted me with life changing hearing aids. I’m sorry that it took me so long to take this huge step. My quality of life has improved immensely. Christine is a top rate proffesional and human being. My mom came in with a severe hearing loss. Christine figured out very quickly what device would be appropriate. Did a very thorough fitting. And sent us home with a demo device while a new device was ordered. Her office is very well organized, lovely decorated and everybody friendly, supportive and an expert at what they do. Bottom line: of you have a hearing problem, go to Christine. There is nobody better
