I'm someone who tends to be more sensitive to pain, so visiting the dentist has always been a nerve-wracking experience for me. Recently, I had the chance to visit Long Island Dental Group for an issue with my molar, where I was treated by Dr. Shin. Remarkably, he administered the anesthesia so gently that I hardly noticed the injection, and throughout the procedure, he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Of course, the treatment itself was flawlessly executed. Given that my previously root-canaled molar has started to ache again, I plan to schedule a follow-up soon. Although I have some lingering anxiety about root canals, knowing that Dr. Shin will be handling my care puts my mind at ease. I highly recommend him.

Dr Lewkowitz is an experienced, brilliant, skilled perfectionist. Displaying the highest level of integrity and professionalism, I have entrusted her with the care of my entire family. In her consultations she will provide her honest opinion. Years ago she was the only ortho that said my daughter had good teeth and didn't need braces! She magically moves teeth, in one area of my mouth she made such an adjustment such that even my general dentist was impressed. Without hesitation I strongly recommend her practice.

If you’re looking for a qualified and professional orthodontist I highly recommend LIDG dental group! Dr. Lewkowitz shows such compassion towards her staff and her patients and always ensures that she takes care of them as well. Not to mention, she will keep you entertained and make your stay as comfortable as possible. During the Covid-19 pandemic all protocols were in place and of a high standard. As a 15 year old patient, I saw immediate changes with braces in a matter of 2 weeks! Dr. Lewkowitz provides excellent follow up care and she’s always available for questions and concerns!
