I've been taking my kids to Dr. Lorenz since 2014/2015. I've had no issues at all. We've had only wonderful experiences. We moved from Woodstock about an hour away and I still take my kids to Dr. Lorenz because he genuinely cares. He always takes his time with them and explains everything he is doing, or what we need to do. He is never judgemental even when I've had really stupid questions. The nurses and the front office staff are all so kind and patient. I highly recommend this practice!!

If you’re a first-time parent, apparently you’re expected to already know everything before walking in the door. The doctor always ended appointments asking if we had questions, but when we asked them, the responses felt like we had just asked the dumbest thing imaginable. A little grace for new parents would go a long way. The scheduling is also… creative. We were booked for 9:00 AM appointments, yet the doctor regularly didn’t arrive until 10:00 AM. So we’d sit there for an hour while the staff said he’d be “with us shortly.” Meanwhile I’m looking out the window thinking, his car isn’t even in the parking lot yet. The grand finale came when we switched pediatricians and requested our child’s records. They told us they had lost the file. Not digitally…physically lost the manila folder.

I can’t say enough good things about Little Hickory Pediatrics! I switched to this pediatrician almost 1 year ago and love it! We always feel so welcome, it’s easy to get same day sick appointments and to be scheduled for regular visits, wait times are little, staff is friendly, pediatrician bedside manner is extremely professional and Dr. Lorenz actually takes the time needed to address all of your concerns - he isn’t ever rushed, and one of my favorite things is that all after hours calls go to Dr. Lorenz’ cell phone. This is a little hidden gem and I wish we would’ve started going here from the very beginning. I highly recommend this pediatrician office to anyone looking for a pediatrician or those thinking of switching pediatricians. Thank you Dr. Lorenz and staff for everything you d

Dr. Lorenz is amazing!! He is so knowledgeable and very caring! We really feel like he has helped us out with our son and our daughter's breathing problems. Highly recommend him

I couldn’t ask for a better pediatrician for my kids! The ladies in the office are all very kind and always seem happy to see us, and Dr. Lorenz is very patient and always takes the time to address any and all concerns for my children. All four of my kids go here and as a mother with little support, I always end up having to bring all four of them to every appointment! but Dr.Lorenz and his lovely staff never make me feel like we are an inconvenience. I couldn’t be happier to have Little Hickory Pediatrics as our primary care provider!
