I am writing to express my serious concerns and to file a formal complaint about an incident involving my 8 years old daughter, during a dental appointment for tooth extraction. On 12/6/23, Leanna was scheduled for an extraction of an extra tooth( possibly 3). However, I was deeply troubled by the dental team’s decision to administer full anesthesia without conducting necessary preliminary diagnostics, such as an X-ray. This crucial step is essential to determine the necessity and scope of any procedure, particularly when it involves a child. The use of full anesthesia carries significant risks and potential after-effects.
