Liberty VIllage of Danville

It is with much unhappiness that I am forced to write this review. My MIL lived in the retirement apartments and absolutely loved the place. She broke her hip and we had to move her to Long Term Care residence. We gave Notice to Vacate in March of 2025 and we have been unable to get any portion of our deposit back or any portion of our overpayment of rent. I am now at the point where I am going to have to file a complaint in court, which in turn will only cost more for Liberty Estates. This is a horrible thing to have to deal with in addition to moving her, taking her to more doctor appointments, etc. I must admit after right after she moved in I had heard this same thing from other people. Too bad, nice place horrible business management!!

This is one of the last privately owned facilities in the area. Lori the DON is the best around! The CNAs and nurses are caring and compassionate. My mom was here twice and loved it so much never wanted to leave. Thank you for the great care.

3.4 average makes sense when they are unable to provide accurate statements on current employees that are harmful to the residents. i was met with, “is this a real call?” so it’s clear where they stand. employee is a custodian so he interacts with all of the residents.

The best Assisted Living, Independent Living & Skilled Nursing facility in Vermillion County and surrounding area by far. Amy & all the staff treat everyone like family and continue to give the best care. I highly recommend using this facility!

Such a great place! I have a loved one that lives there and loves it, they really look after the people that live there .
