Liberty Pediatrics

We've been at Liberty for 10 years now, since my first was born. I really appreciate their balance of using evidence-based suggestions and care, but not over-medicating. Fantastic practice, they have a great set-up of not making people wait on the phone for a long time, instead you get a call back from them. Usually have same day appointments when needed. I'd recommend them to any family who is aligned with their expectation of following AAP vaccine recommendations.

We were dropped from this office years ago. The child’s other parent refused to wear a mask during 1 visit, (had nothing to do with me who is the legal parent) shortly after that parent lost jurisdiction over any decision making for the child. But when we were dropped we were told it was because of difference in beliefs, because I would not immunize my child due to a long family history of mthfr mutation MCAS and serious reactions, and instead of caring for my Child extra like doing tests to see if he has a gene mutation, they banned us from the building. Doctors after medical school take an oath to help people. I have yet to meet a doctor that upholds that oath.

My teenage son started as a patient at Liberty Pediatrics when he was born, and his care has been excellent over the years. I have appreciated all aspects of the practice and how they operate, including annual wellness checkups with Dr. Beth, notifications of vaccination clinics in the fall, phone advice from nurses when an illness hits, follow-up calls, and friendly staff. They're very accommodating and understanding, too. (By the way, there appears to be one negative review that is for a different clinic. There are no practitioners here named Turke or Thomashow.)

All of the staff are caring, empathetic, and resourceful. They recommend and provide meaningful referrals. The care and treatment is collaborative and approachable. We’ve always been able to get quick appointments or talk with the nurse or doctor on call after hours. I can’t say enough good things about Liberty Pediatrics.

My children have been seen at Turke and Thomashow for 4 years. As a small business owner and as a registered nurse who practiced for 10 years, I do not write poor reviews lightly as I know that many potential customers/clients read these. These have been my issues at Turke & Thomashow. 1. They do not respect the time of their patients and families as evidenced by their system that asks parents to fill out redundant forms over and over again. They have not updated parts of their record keeping system to a digital system, and are then wasting parents time putting an unnecessary paperwork burden on families.
