Lexington Family Pharmacy

I have been doing business with these guys for probably 10 years, always have had a good experience. Except for today, (1/29/26) I was told they couldn't control the weather by what sounded like a woman in her 50s. I completely understand that the weather has hindered their shipments and ability to do their job. But I talked to the same woman 3 days ago and she said all I had to do was come pick it up on Thursday. I call today and she said yes we can fill it but we don't have it in stock. So now a medication i have to take on the same day every other week I've now missed my dose twice in a 4 month period. To top off she wouldn't let me talk and was extremely rude. I may move on from here and find another family owned pharmacy.

They're Always great! They make a point to know you when you come in or even call. Every time I e called they know who it is (caller id I'm sure) but they're familiar with our families medication needs and always makes sure to have what we need and already have the authorizations started when needed and everything. The hours are sometimes inconvenient but it's worth the trade off. If ever I have an issue the pharmacist always goes to great links to fix it and make sure I've got what I need until the issue is fixed. Some of the girls who work with him are not as great as he is, like friendliness etc. I'm pretty sure it's all family run.

This place is the rudest family pharmacy that I’ve ever been to nor I’ve ever experienced! It seems like e-one has had a problem w/ Steve every since Calvin (btw which was fantastic 👌u couldn’t ask for a better pharmacist that act like they cared for you instead of like Steve acting like he owns the pharmacy place) They have had several assistances to help the pharmacist but they’ve been through a lot of girls. Not because of the girls, it’s because of Steve! He acts like he’s the authority’s, he runs the place, bow down to me! I thought customer was always right! Just not me has switched pharmacies in the past month. My dr said, alot of people isnt going there a-more because of Steve. I do know Lisa & the other woman have been there way before Steve ever thought about being there, but idk

I used this pharmacy because my nephew uses it and we was leaving for VA Beach after my Dr appointment in Lexington. My normal pharmacy is Charlotte Family Pharmacy but Charlotte was an hour drive south. When I called to see if I could refill my meds on the Saturday id be in lexington again. I was told no not till Monday that wasn't an option for me as I live in Shelby. So I asked for my refill to be sent to my pharmacy. Yes they transferred it but lied to my pharmacy telling him my Dr said it couldn't be filled until that Tuesday. Why lie to get business? My Dr said no such thing. All because you seen this was a narcotic you assumed I needed my meds early because I was out. No I wasn't but now I'll tell my family that is doing business there and I'm sure you will lose that business ASAP.

This little pharmacy is soo awesome... I literally drive 27 miles to get my prescription filled there. Cause that's how much cheaper they are than ANY pharmacy in my area. That shows actually how greedy alot of these pharmacies are that little oh Lexington Family Pharmacy actually cares about their customers being able to afford their medication verses all these other places being in it for the money, charging literally 3x more for the same EXACT medication.
