Leon Medical Centers - Kendall

EXCELLENT CARE!!! I've been accompanying my mother-in-law Maria to her medical appointments at the Leon Medical Kendall Center and the staff have been very competent, loving and friendly. Maria is moving out of state and they've been very helpful having her see her medical providers before she leaves and providing her medical records and enough of her medicines until she can get follow-up after her move. The staff have been great!! The center is very organized and has most of the specialities and services on site, which makes it easier for patients. The free cafe con leche and pastellitos also is great and encourages socialization. Thank you for taking such great care of my suegra!!

León is truly amazing. My husband passed away 2 years ago and i have truly found a place where i am so happy again. This is now like a second home. All of the events like karaoke, dancing, and more ive been able to créate so many brothers and sisters. Both of my parents came here and I never imagined I would find a place here for myself, but I’m do glad i gave it a try.

I have been apart of Leon since before this center was even created. I left for 3 year a shadow to come back. I promise you nothing compares to León. The service a the treatment here is unmatched. I am so happy to call this place a second home.

Even though I only speak English and the language spoken most here is Spanish, I am always treated with such respect and kindness. From the moment they pick you up to the second you leave the treatment is amazing. When I first had a stroke and was taken somewhere else I knew I needed to go somewhere where I could get great treatment and immediately wanted to come to Leon. From there on it has been smooth sailing and I am so happy with my decision.

My mother has been at Leon for about 1.5 years now. Because she is very healthy, we haven’t had any major problems. But the “doctor” she sees is typically not an “MD”. Yet they refer to the professional as “La doctora”- which is fraudulent and misleading. My mother is sharp and has pointed out that they are either an NP or PA and not qualified as a “specialist”. My mom is also bothered by “ la doctora” speaking about religion at every visit- from a Catholic/ Christian perspective. I find that intrusive, disrespectful (making assumptions about the patient’s beliefs) and overall unprofessional. But the customer service is def excellent, and because she remains healthy we remain at Leon- for now.
