Leon Medical Centers - Flagler

My parents have / had been associated with Leon for years with premium service. So much so, I was prepared to become a member later this year upon turning 65. Sadly that will not be the case since the level of service has drastically declined in the past year. Where to start - customer service is abysmal if I can give it 20 negative stars I would. If there is a reliance on special needs transportation, you might as well forget about it, since it requires not only countless follow up calls but of critical nature missed appointments due to late arrivals from transport. Next is the increasing trend from doctors treating the very elderly with an attitude of let things run its course due to old age instead of providing more alternatives.

I found about Leon in 2017, when my mother was in need of help after a hurricane. I was fascinated with the doctor my mother got. The service here is like nothing before. I have never had any problem with any of the workers. From the moment you enter Leon you feel the love and the dedication from the workers. I’ve been able to create bonds like no other. I’ve currently been struggling with cancer but the care I’ve been receiving has helped me like no other.

My grandmother had been a patient at this clinic since 2011, always seeing the same doctor. (Martha betancourt) She used the clinic’s transportation service, so we trusted that her provider was managing her care appropriately. Because she had the same doctor for so many years, and because we were consistently told that her labs were “fine,” we never felt the need to attend her consultations or double-check anything. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. After a recent worsening of her symptoms, we accessed her MyChart for the first time and discovered that her liver enzymes had been abnormal for years. Despite this, her doctor repeatedly told her that everything was normal. No additional testing was ordered, no concerns were raised, and no referrals were made. Her symptoms were dismisse

I have. Been a patient with Leon for 12 years. Very happy with PCP specialist and in general with all services I hope it keeps improving and look out for the patient benefits that we all need. Thank you.

I'm so happy to be here at Leon. I've been a patient here for 10 years and every year they have helped me with not only my health but with everything. I've been able to create a community here and I couldn't been happier. Leon truly is the best.
