Dr. Michael Plakogiannis is exceptional! I got a same-day appointment, and he made me feel completely at ease. Everything was explained clearly, and his gentle touch and professionalism truly stood out. So grateful to have found such a caring and thorough OBGYN!

Cannot recommend Dr. Plakogiannis highly enough. He cared for me throughout my second pregnancy and was kind, professional, and understanding. I had a very unusual request during my care, which was to finish the Boston Marathon at 20 weeks. Instead of saying no, Dr. Plakogiannis took the time to help me make a plan to do so safely, and gave clear and concise instructions for things that should make me pull back or stop entirely. More recently I had a health concern. Again I was treated kindly and with respect by Dr. Plakogiannis, Anna, and the office staff who ordered all appropriate testing. He even came by to check on me when I required care in the ER. This is a physician who treats the patient as an individual instead of a number. Thank you!

I like my dr here and the nurse, and practice in general is clean and friendly. But my appointment has been canceled 15 min before once. Another time I waited 30 min to be seen. And today my appointment is scheduled at 12, but at 12:50 I’m still waiting. Is it so disrespectful to patients time, especially working pregnant women who come during their lunch break. And I understand things happen, that’s why I didn’t leave review first 2 times. Front desk should let you know that Dr is running late and at least pretend they care about your time.

Dr. Plakagiannis is a great doctor. What can I say he's one of the Best ObGyn in New York City. He saved my life. NO!! I mean literally saved my life when he had performed my obligation surgery. I've been with him for over 10 yr. Very attentive and respectful doctor.
