I had 4 wisdom teeth removed under local, and everyone was so kind. When I experienced pain, the Dr. told me to just raise my hand, and I did, and he made sure I was completely numb throughout. They also explained thoroughly what I needed to do to prevent infection afterwards, and let me wear headphones throughout the process which helped me feel more relaxed. They also (wisely) suggested I go under anesthetic, but kindly helped with my bull-headed choice to not do so. Really a great experience, as weird as that is to say about having 4 bones removed from your face.

I've been a patient of Dr. Fear since the mid 1980's. He is the BEST Oral Surgeon in Washtenaw County and beyond. I had an emergency extraction and I saw Dr. Alena for the fist time and she is even better that her Father!!! Got me in right away and took out my bad tooth, easy as pie. I got my 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Alena Fear this early February. I chose the iv sedation, and it happened so smooth that I didn’t even realized it was done when I woke up. Before surgery, I’ve read some people sharing their swelling experience in the post-surgery recovery, but surprisingly it didn’t happen to me at all as I followed the guidance on the paper instruction offered by the office. I started eating normal about 10 days after surgery. Overall really good experience. Big thank you to Dr. Fear, nurses, and staff. Would definitely recommend to people living close in the area who want to get a faster dental appt (UMich dental is really slow).

I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about this office! From the staff to both doctors. They are all so amazing and through. I have brough both of my children to this office for various oral surgeries and I will not take them anywhere else! Dr Delbert and Dr Alena take pride in what they do. They are knowledgeable and care about their patients. The ladies in the front are rock stars as well!

I was very impressed with the organization and efficiency of handling my appointment. I was able to schedule quickly and never had to wait for my appointment when I got there. The clinical staff was kind and explained things thoroughly. The experience of having my first tooth extracted since I was a child was smooth and painless. I also really appreciated the call the next day to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend this practice.
