Legacy Marietta

This place is an absolute joke!! The DON is a rude and condescending lady, who is not very nice to the residents nor the staff!! They are very short staffed, and most of the aides are very rude, and the nurses are the same!! They don't monitor your vitals as they are supposed to, and as for getting your medication on time, you might get it, three hours later, that is unacceptable!! I do want to say the activity department is great, and there are a few great Nursing Assistants and Nurses who care about the residents, but they are overworked and underappreciated!! The Assistant DON is great and the maintenance guy will put a smile on your face, but I'm sorry do not put your people in this place!!

My grandmother came here for rehab, after a brief stay in the hospital. She says: “This is a very nice place to be. The food was very good. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The therapy was wonderful.”

Won't let me post with no stars, so selecting one....but none is what it should be....see "review" below: Just had my wife at "Legacy Marietta" (formerly Heartland of Marietta).  She was transferred there for rehab for her broken elbow on Wednesday 10-4-23 from Marietta Memorial Hospital.  My wife is a type 1 diabetic and requires insulin and glucose monitoring on a fairly stringent schedule.  Legacy, like Heartland does not seem to be able to do that.  Their "protocol" does not facilitate the needs of a type 1 brittle diabetic...period.  I'm sure the nurses are overworked and overwhelmed by the load placed on them, but if a facility cannot provide the care needed by specific patients, then they just should not advertise that they are a "SKILLED" nursing facility, and refuse to accept any

The staff and community were so supportive. We had a great day there.

They have great new management, a clean facility, and very friendly staff!
