Marietta Memorial Hospital

The Outpatient Lab was full of great people and I didn't have a single problem with any of the staff. However, the waiting room had an aquarium that is clearly being neglected. The algae growth is aggressive and old enough to have turned black. According to the staff, they aren't allowed to take care of the tank and they've been forced to watch multiple batches of fish die. This is upsetting for both visitors and staff. The tank only requires basic maintenance to solve this problem. According to the staff, Belpre Aquarium is in charge of this tank, and is the company that the Marietta Memorial administration should be contacting to fix the problem, but apparently administration is not listening to the staff.

Doctors treat you like you are stupid and feel intimidated by your own medical knowledge. They also refuse to tell family anything until demanded and by then the doctor hated us so much that they switched. Our new doctor was very nice but are angry that we were given an inexperienced doctor for a cancer patient. Overall bad experience and we had to worry to much about when was even happening to our patient.

Usually fast to see you for lab work. Been there 7 or 8 times over 3 years saw one slow intake.

Do pretty good even though rumors has it they are short staffed .
