Legacy AFH | Ventilator Specialty

Great place and friendly staff work there. Our mom has been a patient there for about 16 months now. They are specialized in ventilator and trach care. I would totally recommend this place for those that need this special care!

I can’t say enough about the high quality of care my son is receiving at Legacy adult family home. He has complex communication needs with ALS which they patiently and efficiently accommodate. It is so impressive to watch the inquiry going through his routine list. The nurses and caregivers are also very respectful of my son’s rights and wishes in directing his own care. But most importantly the staff is so kind and provide such a welcoming atmosphere. I visit weekly and feel at home in their home.

Our Second Home! Our mother is currently a resident of this facility for almost 2 years now after suffering from brain aneurysm. Tim, the owner & registered nurse, has been nothing but very helpful since day 1. He is very nice, knowledgeable, respectful to all our concerns, always available to answer all our questions anytime, day or night. The facility is homey, airy, clean and in a very safe & quiet neighborhood. Staff at this facility are well trained, attentive to the residents needs, courteous and friendly. Overtime, Tim, the administrators and staffs became a family to us. I would recommend Legacy to anyone who needs care for their loved ones. Again, thank you Legacy and may God bless all of you.

Legacy AFH will provide your loved one with the highest standard of care. The staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming, as well as very knowledgeable in every aspect of care in this vent home. Staff provide excellent care with a high degree of compassion for their residents. Both Serge and Tim go above and beyond in ensuring that your loved one is well taken care of. The main focus of this home is preventative care. Rest assured that your loved one will feel comfortable, safe, and most of all, loved and cared for. The Facility When we were still in the process of choosing a place for our mom’s continuance of care, we were given 2 choices: 1. a nursing facility in Tacoma with 1:15 nurse to patient ratio (20 minutes drive) and 2. Legacy AFH (Vancouver, 2 hrs commute) with 1:4 ratio then. I forwarded these options (website links) to my siblings and have each voice their option. Unanimously, we all proceed with Legacy - being a “home” instead of a building, with the fewer residents means more quality care and the house was clean. The only imposing challenge for us is the commute given its 4 hrs back and forth, but its worth the sacrifice, if it means top notch care and peace of mind.
