I’m writing this as a former student of the Lawrence Memorial / Regis College Nursing Program, which recently shut down with only two weeks’ notice before our final exams. The handling of this transition was not only unprofessional, it was disrespectful to every student who trusted this program with their time, money, and future. Like many students, I chose Lawrence Memorial for a reason: it was local, accessible, and felt like the right fit for my learning needs. I have a documented learning disability, and I was told I’d be supported, but that support never truly came. The only accommodation offered to me was extra test time. No tutoring. No academic coaching. No help breaking down materials. Nothing meaningful that actually helped me succeed. NU101 started off strong with instructors

Don’t do it!!!! All the school cares about is money. There are a few people in the school that actually care about the students, which is why I gave it 1 star. The only good thing is that there is not a minimum requirement for the TEAs but I would recommend you study to take it so you can get into a better school. In clinical it’s basically cna work. As students paying 10k a semester we should be able to learn and do more in the clinical setting. This school doesn’t even have a water fountain, heat, or air conditioning that actually works throughout the building. There is always limited supply when it comes to lab but yet we are spending all this money. When it comes to testing some of the professors depending on who teaches the content will say “Yes this is the right answer but this is th

It cost me $10,000 to learn that I picked the wrong school. Most staff were good, but main prof and admin left much to be desired. One prof told me "Never say sorry." They live by this, couldn't even admit they misspelled my name on my badge. I have a BA, I know the difference between a tough class and a bad class. This was a bad class. Have also heard a lot of people say that nursing school can be challenging. This struck me as going a bit beyond that. I found the class to be severely disorganized and unfocused, yet strict and unreasonable. Much of the information came in the form of "here's a haystack, now find the right needles." Much of it not even medical related and definitely subjective. Nobody is expecting to be spoon-fed the answers, but there needs to be some level of focus and

I visited this campus in medford to enquire about their nursing program . The lady at the front desk dismissed my friend and I, told us to go read on their website all the information is available there. Mind you we have driven over 40 miles just to get there. I asked to speak to an admissions counselor. The lady who came out to talk to us stated she is the person in charge of information sessions. She was very rude and confrontational in the manner in which she spoke to us. The college it self has a policy that any student who did not graduate from highschool in America is supposed to take an english proficiency test which is stupid and discriminatory. I advise anyone looking into this school to consider all their options before applying. First impressions go a long way and

Honestly don't know where the money goes because it is certainly not the facility or equipment. I don't mind paying for a GOOD education and degree, but this was certainly not it. Unfortunately a few good teachers does not outweigh the disappointment of the program.
